Orthen is the sixth dig site of Archaeology skill that will be launched on Oct. 19. There will be several smaller locations for the upcoming dig site, and the main location will be the Anachronia base camp. While excavating Orthen, you will find 10 excavation hotspots, containing 22 artefacts and 5 new dig site specific materials. 
To get started in Orthen, you have to reach level 90 Archaeology, complete Anachronia base camp tutorial and have the Associate qualification. Desperate Measures is an optional requirement but beneficial. 

Osseous community event in RS Orthen dig site 

RS Orthen dig site will have a community event called Osseous. During this event, you will have a chance to get Rex skeletal fragments that can be used to build the skeleton of a dinosaur found at the base camp. Upon the completion, the participants will obtain various boosts, including: 
1. 25% more XP from activities on Anachronia
  - Hunter including BGH, Anachronia Butterfly Catching, Jadinko/Grenwall/Pawya/Salamander Trapping, Golden Warbler Snaring.
  - Archaeology excavation
